James & Kristen’s Wedding Invitations

I have designed a couple of wedding invitations in the past but was never able to really document it. Here’s the first one. It’s a wedding invitation that I did for my husband’s brother and his fiance. They have a 4-color wedding that is set for December 19, 2009. These were all hand cut and assembled by the bride and myself.

The invitations were made with ribbon vellum, textured salmon paper and a single pearl sitck-on for added elegance. These all helped with the holiday wedding theme.

The invitation itself designed with the Christmas feel of ribbons and lights. An RSVP card was made in red to match.

A modern font was chosen to keep the feel of the invitation clean and crisp.

Another pearl stick-on was included on the main invitation itself, towards the bottom. It looks really great. All in all, we put together 90 invitations by hand. The bride was very happy.
